Edgar Week means parties and very few signings that do not result in sell-outs, so nothing to offer you this week in the way of signed first editions. But it does give us a chance to highlight books that will NOT be signed:

No Sherlockian should be without Sherlock Holmes for Dummies by Steven Doyle and David A. Crowder. This indispensable companion to the world’s greatest detective is also a must for those of you who are just plain curious about the great man. $19.99

Sixkill is a Spenser mystery by the late Robert B. Parker. Many of you have asked us to automatically send you any books by Parker which may be published, but if you haven’t done so and would like a copy, please let us know so that we can have enough first editions on hand when the book is released next Tuesday. $26.95

The Bayou Trilogy by Daniel Woodrell is a paperback original which brings together three of this terrific author’s early books: Under the Bright Lights; Muscle for the Wing; and The Ones You do. Dennis Lehane says "Woodrell is the least-known major writer in the country right now." So get to know him. $16.99
