A Jim Steele hard-boiled novel set in New York. Bookplate, else fine in dust jacket, which has wear along edges and spine tips, with a dime-sized chip at top of rear panel. A scarce book by this Black Mask writer.

The Little Sister by Raymond Chandler, NY, Otto Penzler Books. 1996. Facsimile. $50.00

This is an exact facsimile of the very scarce first edition, published in London by Hamish Hamilton in 1949 (preceding the American edition). A perfect, as new copy in the striking dust jacket, still in the original shrink wrap.
